Adriane was born to the union of Carol Manson (Abdul Jabbar) and Barbara Manson on August
3, 1964. Both parents preceded her in death.
Adriane accepted Christ very early in life.
She attended and graduated from East Cleveland Public Schools.
Adriane met and married David Cotton and to this union Nicoh Cotton was born. Later she met
Darnell Cephus, and to this union Jasmine Cotton was born.
Adriane worked as a teacher for East Cleveland City Schools, she then went to college where
she maintained being on the deans list while studying early childhood development in the field
of special education, receiving her Associates, Bachelors, and Masters Degrees.
Adriane enjoyed fellowshipping with her church family, cooking, traveling, dancing, playing
cards, and most of all spending time with family and close friends.
Adriane leaves to cherish her memories her son; Nicoh Cotton (Brittany), her daughter; Jasmine
Cotton, two grandchildren; Kai’Bree Monroe, and London Cotton, one sister; Marcia Williams,
one brother ‘in’ law; Larry Brown, two aunts; Nettie Rawls, and Articia (Vickie) McClure, two
uncles; David Manson (Rachel), and Darin King (Denise), and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
