Adrienne Elizabeth Jackson was born on July 9th, 1937 in Cleveland Ohio to (preceded in death) Robert Daniels & Bobbie Harrison-Daniels. She went to be with the Lord on August 8th, 2024 at 5:00 a.m. at the age of 87 years old. She was the eldest of 7 children, Robert Daniels (Marci) Ralph Daniels (Ren), Willam Daniels (Cheryl), Warren Daniels (Marie), Brenda Daniels (Sammel), and Nadine Lauderdale (Irak). She is preceded in death by her brothers and one sister, Bob, Billy, Warren and Brenda.
Adrienne married George V. Jackson Sr. on September 16, 1961 and were married 62 years, out of the beautiful union they had two children Ingrid P. Jackson and George V. Jackson Jr who she would do anything for. She attended Bedford High School where she graduated in 1955 and then went away to college at Wilberforce University where she pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha.
Adrienne accepted Christ at a very young age 1949 to be exact, where she attended multiple churches such as Mt. Zion of Oakwood, Lee-Seville, Avon Baptist, Greater Christian Tabernacle, Perfecting Ministries, Covenant Community Church and The Word Church. While attending Greater Christian Tabernacle she was a part of the Bill Sawyer Ensemble with her baby sister Nadine.
Adrienne was a STNA at Suburban for years, also a phlebotomist at the McDonald House and the V.A hospital. She was the President of the PTA Committee at Cranwood Elementary, Precinct Committee Leader of Garfield Heights (Ward 1), she ran her very own Tax Business “Driens Enterprise” also a Notary Public for over 25 years. Secretary and Sunday School Teacher at Covenant Community, A Deaconess at Greater Christian Tabernacle & Perfecting Ministries, and a Ministry Leader at Perfecting Ministries. Adrienne was a part of the Alvin Ailey Dance Company & The Bill Sawyer Ensemble with a host of many other things.
Adrienne was Sassy, A Diva and THE BOSS! Anybody that knew and loved her knows she was in control of EVERYTHING! Known to her family and close friends as BUNNY, she was SUPER vain but a love and Joy to be around.. Her famous saying was” YOUR SUPPOSE TO MEET THE DAY, DON’T LET THE DAY MEET YOU!” Adrienne loved the Lord, Her Husband, Her Children and Grandchildren more than herself, she would always tell us “I LOVE YOU, AND AIN’T NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!”
Adrienne had three grandchildren Shawnte, Dominic, and Adrianna that she loved and adored. She was a very active grandmother in all of her grandchildren’s lives and would not let anyone hurt them NOT EVEN THEIR MOM! THEY WAS HER BABIES -”BUNNIES BABIES”
Adrienne is survived by her Husband George V. Jackson Sr, her Children Pam Jackson & George Jackson Jr, her Grandchildren Shawnte, Dominic, Adrianna, Her Great Grandchildren Raselle, Aja’Nique, Davion, her Great-Great Grandchildren Lyric & Arieon, Her Sister Nadine, Her Brother Ralph and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
