Ander Lee Haley was born on July 31, 1941 in Hanceville, Alabama to the late James Milton Haley and Artimothy Louise Haley. Ander departed this life on July 28, 2024 at the age of 82 years young. Ander was a life-long resident of Akron, where he attended Thornton Junior High School and Hower Trade School.

Ander’s favorite Bible scripture was Psalm 23.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Artimothy Haley; his son, Ander Lee Haley Jr., and granddaughter, Brittaney Turner.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Cynthia Haley; his children, Latonya (Ernest) Thompson, Tracy Massey, April Bradford, Aricka Haley, Donavin (Kashinda) Robinson and Domonique Bickley; his grandchildren, Ja’Rai, Elexes, Andrea, Tyler, Dezarae, Haley and Jaylen; great grand-children, Kay’lyn, Ma’Khi, Khloe, Khourey, Maisyn, Bleu, Kamryn, Jurzhi and Tariq; sister, Gloria Rice; aunts, Eleanor Turner and Bettye Scruggs, both of Alabama; his best buddy, Ma’Khi and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
