To the Family, So many memories flood my mind when I think about Sis. Nita Mockabee. Her and Dea. David Mockabee's faithfulness at the old Cleveland Church of Christ. Working as a part of the New Members' Group and on the Usher Board. She was faithful to those posts. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the future.

Ma Mockabee I will always remember the conversations we had and the advice that you gave me growing up. You always welcomed me and my children as your own. You would get on me just like you did with the twins, and Nita. You will be missed tremendously. My thoughts and prayers are with David, Twins, Nita, family and friends always and forever.

Sending heartfelt condolences to the family from my brother (James) and I. I remember Ms. Mockabee as always a sweet spirit when we were growing up on east 139th. It has been two years since our mom transitioned to Heaven and I was thinking of that day earlier. The pain associated with the absence has dissipated but it is always a constant void. I thank God for the peace, and I pray that you ALL have a peace that surpasses all understanding during this time and the minutes, hours, days and years to come. Rest in peace, Ms. Mockabee!
