Our beautiful mother Annabell (Fountaine) Duckworth, went home to be with the almighty God on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the age of 87.

She was born in Payne, Georgia to the late Reverend Jesse and Jessie (Bailey) Fountaine.

Annabell was a member of The Church of God M.P.G.T. for many years, where she was made a church mother under the pastorate of the late Bishop Ronald Henry.  She was also made vice president of the mother’s board.  She loved to sing and cook. She also loved chocolate and her pets.  She will be remembered for loving the Lord.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Duckworth; stepsons, James Duckworth, and Roland Duckworth; daughter Debrah (Duckworth) Brunson.

 

She leaves to mourn her passing sons, Eugene (Norma) Matthews of Youngstown, Tony (Marsha) Duckworth and Rodrick (Kim) Duckworth; stepsons, Herbert (Louis) Duckworth and Ralph (Linda) Duckworth; daughters, Barbara (Sam) Hall, Betty (James) Manassa of Columbus; stepdaughter, Shirley Mobley of Florida; special grandson, Bobby Ray Duckworth; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.

To the Duckworth Family, I was saddened to hear of the loss of one of our dear church Mothers, Mother Annabell Duckworth. I know that her passing brings grief and sadness to the family, but I'm sure that you all will be comforted in the fact that she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
