Annie Lee Johnson was born on December 22, 1947, in Montgomery, Alabama. She was the daughter of Alice Jones and George Leygard. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1967, and started working at what was then known as Woodhill Permatex; now known as the Henkel corporation. She retired with 40 years of service.
Annie fellowshipped at New Life Cathedral. She spent her evenings watching ID investigate, Perry Mason, and Jessica (Murder She Wrote). Annie conversed with her daughter Theresa daily. She loved to do word searches and read romance novels. Often, she had her granddaughter, Miryacle, braid her hair and take her where she needed or wanted to go.
Annie had a heart of gold and was a light to everyone she met. Her kindness will forever be felt.
Annie’s memories with forever etched in the hearts of her father: George Leygard. Daughters: Barbara Harris, Carissa Johnson-Williams (Ian), Christal Johnson-Evans (Breon), and Theresa Johnson. Grandchildren: Nakwanta McWilliams, Tony McWilliams, Courtney McWilliams, Kawasaki Harris, Miryacle Harris, John Baingull, Tyla Williams, Sky Evans, O’Darrie Williams, and Lyric Guy. Friends: Nadine and Denise.
