Anthony Randle EL was born October 22, 1962 to Angelee and Mattie Lee Randle EL in Chicago, Illinois. He was the 5th of 7 children. He was an adventurous and rambunctious boy in his young days, known for his left-handed jump shot. Anthony was educated in the Chicago Public School System until the family moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Tony enlisted in the US Navy in 1980 where he served for 4 years.
Anthony accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Lawndale Christian Reform Church as a child. He then had a reaffirmation of his faith as an adult at Greater Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. After his time in the Navy, Anthony returned to Cleveland where he began his career working at Penco Industries, Ben Venue Laboratories Inc., and then Swagelok. Anthony then decided he wanted to work for himself, and started Penn To Paper, his notary service.
Tony was a founding member of the C-Town Freelancers Social Club, where he served as the Vice President. With the Freelancers he happily served his community throughout the year, and forged lifelong friendships. Anthony was a Cleveland Browns superfan, and often hosted tailgates and viewing parties for the family. He also enjoyed attending Cleveland Guardians games. He loved fishing on Lake Erie with his brother Michael. He was a lover of jazz music and enjoyed attending concerts. In 2018 Anthony met and fell in love with Joy Tobias-Cook, whom he would later ask to become his wife. He enjoyed spending evenings at the lake with his fiancé Joy and their dog Patch.
Tony departed this life on Thursday, July 24. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelee and Mattie Lee Randle EL, and his oldest brother, Derrick Randle EL. He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Joy Tobias his 4 sisters: Ella Mae Kane, Desiree Randle EL, Darlene Randle EL and Marlene Randle EL; one brother Michael Randle EL (Denise), 14 nieces and nephews: Angela Willis(Justin), Dionne Kane, Nakeysha Hamilton, Marlon Bowman, Derricka Bowman, Gregory Woulard Jr, Jamie Smith, Michael Randle Jr, Michael Woulard, JonNecia Kane, Marsenio Parks, Jazmine Gaines, Deonna Latimore and Madalynn Randle, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
