Antwaine D. Bethune, Sr. was born on October 26, 1983, in Cleveland, Ohio to Frankie Bethune and Everette Harris. Antwaine was baptized by Pastor Marc L. Neal and accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Cleveland and Akron Public Schools and successfully obtained his general education Diploma. Many would say he was a jack of all trades, but his most recent passion was real estate rehabilitation.
Antwaine was very family-oriented. He loved his KIDS and his MOMMA but had a special relationship with all his loved ones. He enjoyed playing cards, cooking, eating, music, motorcycles, and having a good time. He was a man of good humor but took his family very seriously. He was a protector.
Antwaine was the proud father of six children and grandfather of two. You would always find a post about his children, mother, or family. He was not perfect but fit perfectly with those whom he loved and loved him.
Antwaine departed this life on February 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sister, Everetta Bethune.
He leaves to forever carry his memory his mother and his Joy, Frankie Bethune; father, Everette Harris; beloved children, Janaya, Antwaine, Tashana, Zane, Jaelyn, and BABY Antwaine; two grandchildren, Jaliyah and Kai’Sen; four siblings, Lacreasa Bethune-Grant (Albert) of Louisiana, Yashica Bethune, James Bethune (Damentia), Sha’Ron Scott; special friend, Jawon Christian and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

i got two say this is the hardest year of my life. It hasnt got no better or easier. Jaelyn talks bout you it breaks my heart knowing shes gonna grow up with out u by her side. I feel like im living in a nightmare i didnt picture being a single parent my hole life. you were the best dad you could be an jaelyn smiled ever time she seen you she loved her dad dad. jaelyns attitude changed so much since this day shes very emotional she misses you twan. I miss you this isnt fair. Jaelyn talks to the sky now always saying she loves u daddy an misses you she even slepts with ur t shirt pillow. i just wish god would give you bck to ALL OF US. Theirs so many of us that are hurting and empty without u here. Lighting this candle for u today cause today is one of them days......its getting closer an closer to jaelyns first day of school but i no u will be watching that day. love u bd as we always called each other jaelyn loves u an misses u all the kids do, kinslee even being talking bout daddy in heaven mom this is gone b so hard watching jaelyn grow up an the older she gets im sure ill have to explain this day all over. I’m truly lost for words. Despite the fact that I do not get to see you often, I still loved you. The times we did speak were full of joy and laughter. I’m glad I do have some memories to hold on to. I take comfort in knowing that you have been reunited with auntie Vett. Please know that your mother, kids and siblings are being comforted by an outpouring of love and support. Please continue to watch over us in heaven as you did here on earth.
