Arethea Hinton, age 84, passed away on March 13, 2023.
Arethea Hinton was born February 7, 1939 in Harpursville Alabama to Melvin and Mary Ann Watters. She graduated this life on March 13, 2023.
Arethea accepted Christ as her Savior at a very young age and spent the rest of her life in His service. She served as an Usher for over 40 years at Calvary Hill Baptist Church.
Arethea was married to Robert C Hinton in 1972 as that union remained over 50 years.
Arethea left Alabama following her mother with her Daughter Velma McKinney seeking better employment; she worked at Brentwood hospital for over 40 years and that’s where she retired.
She leaves behind her husband Robert C Hinton; daughter Velma Watters McKinney; four grandchildren Lonnie McKinney (deceased) Joshua Mckinney, Jacqueline McKinney and Brittnie McKinney; Eleven great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; one niece Pearle McCrimon; four nephews Samuel J Watters, Nikita McCrimon, Mark, and Corwin including a host of great nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
