Arthur R. Hendricks Jr., the beloved son of Arthur Robert Hendricks, Sr. and Annie E. Hendricks. Arthur was affectionately known by several names: “Man”, “Big Little Arthur”, “Poopey”, “Animal”, “Scoop”, and “ Art”. He was born on April 19, 1972, in Cleveland Ohio. He was their only son and the older of two children born to this union. Arthur resided in Cleveland Heights until his death. He attended Shaw High School of East Cleveland Ohio and later pursued a study in theology where he received a Bachelor’s degree. Arthur was pursuing a Master degree in theology before his passing.
Arthur loved people and would make witnessing to them a priority wherever he went. He wanted everyone to have a personal relationship with Christ.
Arthur enjoyed reading hos bible, studying it, and he was impartial to Paul’s writing in the bible. He would often say Paul capture the struggle of everyday men and women as they strive to follow Christ.
Arthur favorite song was “ I Don’t Believe he brought me this far to Leave Me”. He would often say “I know the Lord didn’t bring me this far to leave me”. When delivering a message in church, Arthur was brief and to the point. He would always discuss the Lord’s plan of salvation for man.
Arthur favorite colors were black and gold. He also liked dressing up and attending church. He enjoyed writing. He was a football player and boxer and enjoyed most sports.
Arthur was preceded in dead by his grandparents on his mother and father side of the family, three uncles, four aunts and five cousins.
He leaves to mourn his death and cherish his memory: his mother Annie E. Hendricks, his father Arthur R. Hendricks Sr., (Evelyn Hendricks0, his only sister Arneice ( Neicey) Hendricks, four Aunts, Four Uncles, and a host of first, second, third and fourth cousins, and, his Psi-P family and friends, all that loved him deeply. He will truly be missed.
