Baby Shawn “Pooh Pooh” Anthony Bell, Jr.

Shawn Anthony Bell, Jr., also known as “pooh-pooh” and “Doodie”, was born on August 12, 2013 in Cleveland, Ohio to Shontie Renee Upshaw and Shawn Anthony Bell, Sr. He was the third of three cabbage patch children, as well as the fattest.

Shawn loved stealing everyone’s food, hearts, and smiles! His favorite activities were playing ball and playing with his sister and favorite cousins. He also enjoyed watching those little ol’ Minion characters as well Mr. Spongebob Squarepants himself!

Shawn was loved by many, especially his big sister, Shauntal Nevaeh Upshaw-Bell. Whenever he wasn’t around, she would yell “Where’s my baby bruh bruh”. Though she was always worried when he wasn’t around, it was a whole different story when they were together because all they did was fight and argue (all in the name of love, though).

Shawn loved hanging with his favorite aunts: “Rhon Rhon” (Rhonda) and her children, Janoris, Angela, and NaKeisha; his favorite uncles: DJ (Dominique) and their children, and William and his children; his two big cousins: Champagne and Shaniqua, as well as the MANY family members he had.

Shawn was a little old man trapped in a little midget’s body. Those dimples of his truly made everyone smile.

Shawn was proceeded in death by his older brother, whom passed at four months, Javon William Upshaw, his dearest uncle, Deonte D. Upshaw, his loving grandmother, Wanda Lewis, and his beautiful great-grandmother, Juanita Lewis.

Shawn leaves to cherish his warming presence, his loving mommy, Shontie R. Upshaw, his caring “da-eeh” (daddy), Shawn A. Bell, Sr., his spunky older sister, Shauntal N. Upshaw Bell (affectionately known as “Fats”), Grandparents: Nicole Lewis ,Vanessa Kemp, and Fletcher (Chara) Upshaw; 5 [plus] aunts, 11 [plus] uncles, and a host of many cousins, family, extended family, and friends!
