Barbara Ann Ross was born June 17, 1955, in Greensboro, Georgia to Mattie and Fletcher J. Jernigan.
Barbara Ann affectionately known as Bob-Ann (by her family), was a faithful member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. R.L. Fuller, Elder Oliver D. Browne and Elder Eric L. Waldon.
In 1974 Barbara met Willie Ross Jr., the two were united in holy matrimony on May 24, 1980 and to this union had two daughters Dominique (deceased) and Kellie.
Barbara was a loving nurturer to several members of her family over very many years. She entered into eternal rest on January 8, 2022 with her daughter Kellie at her side.
One thing she always said to Kellie or to anyone she cross path with “In life, you do what you have to do, and let God handle the rest.”
Barbara leaves behind to honor and cherish her memory daughter Kellie Ross, sister Linda Jernigan, cousin Johnny Gresham, who was like a brother to her, a sister Patricia Jones Lucas in Georgia. And many other loving relatives and friends.

You have left us all too soon our Hearts are heavy with the loss of you our family will never be the same and will truly miss your Beautiful Smile and your infectious Laughter and all of the family photos you were always well known for providing special memories for us all to remember our happy moments together and for that we Thank You !!!!
