Ben (Buddy) Jones Jr. was born on November 12, 2001, in Vicksburg, MS to Daytoya Chavis
and Ben Jones. He departed his earthly life on Tuesday July 22, 2025, at the age of 23. He
accepted Christ and was a member of the Living Church of Jesus Christ. He later converted
to Islam.
He lives to cherish his memories, a son Isaiah Stoves of Cleveland, Ohio, his mother
Daytoya Chavis (Michael) , his father Ben Jones Sr. , two sisters, Bendavia Jones of Lake
Providence, LA and Toinesha Jones of Las Vegas, NV, three brothers Dantrell White of
Eudora, AR, Matthew Rooks of Tallulah, LA , and Keagan Jones of Fort Worth, TX.
Grandparents Dorothy Raymon (Ronnie) of Lake Providence, La, and David Harrison Sr.
(Rita) of Tallulah, LA. Two aunts Stacey Anderson (Favorite) of Las Vegas, Nv and Carletha
Harrison of Louisiana. Five uncles Reginald Anderson of Texas, William Dean, Charles
Dean, David Harrison Jr, Justin Harrison of Louisiana. He also leaves a host of aunts,
uncles, nieces and nephews and two special cousins, Dorothy Green and Derrick
Anderson Jr.
He is preceded in death by Onedia Jones, grandmother, A.G. Jackson, grandfather, and 3
uncles Louis Anderson, Lewis Jones and Paul Jones
