Birdie R.C. Bonner (Sizemore) passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 7th, at the age of 92.  Birdie was the loving wife of the late Ernest D. Bonner.  Loving mother of Bonita, Karen (Ronald), Ellen, Mark (Natalie) and Bruce; cherished and much loved grandmother of Rainelle, Sabra, Raven, LaShan, Kimberly, Walter, Wallace, Dalita, Asia, Ellis, Jason, self-adopted grandson Darryl (husband of LaShan); a host of great-grandchildren and one great-great- granddaughter, nieces, nephews and her beloved brother-in-law John K. Bonner.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Eliza Bryant Village, 7201 Wade Park Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103, 216-361-6141 in the hope that it will represent the family's gratitude for the wonderful care that was given to our Mother.

Memorial Thursday, January 14, 2016  5:30 p.m. at THE CALHOUN FUNERAL HOME, 17010 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44110.  Family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m.

The Bible not only reveals why we die but also explains the condition of the dead and offers hope for our deceased loved ones. Finally, it speaks of a momentous time when it will be possible to report: “Death will be no more" Revelation 21:4. May you find peace in the God of comfort.

Bonner Family, My heart goes out to you. In times of despair, like the loss of a loved one, we need god news. What helps me during times like this are the words of Isaiah 25:8. Perhaps you will find comfort in those words too.
