Brandon Addison, Sr., of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. Born March 31, 1972, in Greenwood, Mississippi, to parents Dr. Ronald Love and Donna Addison (deceased). Brandon lived a life filled with faith, hard work, and love.
Affectionately known as “Bhard,” Brandon was born at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, Mississippi. Shortly thereafter, his family relocated to East Cleveland, Ohio, where he was raised. He attended Glenville Senior High School and later became a Certified Auto Body Mechanic, graduating from Ohio Diesel Technical Institute, where he remained for several years teaching others his craft.
Brandon’s drive and passion extended beyond the classroom. He was the proud owner and operator of Paradise Landscaping, LLC, where he built a reputation for excellence and dependability. His strong work ethic and commitment reflected his devotion to family, faith, and service to others.
From a young age, Brandon gave his life to the Lord and continued to honor the Lord throughout his life. His unwavering faith was evident in how he loved, served, and uplifted others. Brandon enjoyed fishing, telling jokes, dancing (the life of the party!), and tailgating for his favorite NFL team, the Cleveland Browns.
Brandon loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, loving father, protective brother, and loyal friend. To know Brandon was to experience loyalty, humor, and a rare, genuine love that left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Latonya Addison; his children, Domonique Cook, Briana Anderson, Domonique Riley, Brandon Addison Jr., Brandon Bryant, Branea Bryant, Braneisha Bryant, Darius Miller, Aaron Miller, Kevin Miller, Shavell Miller, and KLyn Hadley, all of Cleveland, Ohio; fifteen cherished grandchildren; his father, Dr. Ronald Love, Jackson, MS, brothers, Medrick Addison, Sr. (Melinda) Paynesville Township, Ohio and Nathaniel Addison, Sr. (Janae); his sisters, Shamorrow Jones, both of Newport News, Virginia and Tiffany Fuller, Houston, Texas; and his cousin, who was more like a brother, Willie White (Keisha), Concord Township, Ohio. Two aunts, Barbara Robinson and Joyce E. Mixon, both of Itta Bena, Mississippi. Two uncles Drs. Albert and Randy Love of Mississippi. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Brandon’s faith guided his every step, and his life was a testimony of God’s grace and love. He will be remembered for his joyful spirit, generous heart, and unwavering trust in the Lord. Though he has gone home to be with the Lord, Brandon Addison, Sr. will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
