Brenda Joyce Jones, a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio, departed this life on January 22, 2022, at the age of 69.

In her free time, Brenda loved to not only shop but get money as well. She was known for always joking around and throwing jokes into a conversation from time to time. Brenda loved to take pictures, even if they weren’t for her! She also enjoyed caring for her fur baby, Sporty.

She entered this world on March 10th, 1952, to Cliafous Jones Sr. & Connie Mitchell.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Clark (Cash); brothers, Myron Finney and Cliafous Jones.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Carlissa Jones, Jowan Christian, and Tawanna Dobson; son; Karshif Dobson, all of Akron, OH.; grandchildren, India Harris,  Michael Bickley Jr., Sharmaine Jones, Rishee Boone, Kendallin Richardson, Jeramiah Christian, DeMar Clemons, CorTez Ford, Kelis Dobson, Dacota Gordon, Kelsi Dobson and 9 great grandchildren; loyal companion and best friend, her “Fur Baby Sporty”; special long time friends, Lois Brown, Angela Jones and Karen Bayless; dedicated and loving mother-in-law, Frances Christian Dobson; as well as a host of family, extended family and friends.
