Candace Monique Eberhardt was born February 26, 1981 to Barbara and Chester Eberhardt Sr. in Cleveland, OH. Candace departed this earthly life on February 7, 2025 at the age of 43. Candace was baptized at an early age. Raised in Cleveland Heights, OH she attended Cleveland Heights School District. Candace was a loving, free spirit throughout her life who loved to entertain her family and friends with jokes. Candace grew up to be a hard-worker, always holding a job from the age of 13. She worked as an STNA for several years then transitioned to working for several school districts where she ended her career working for Berea City Schools.
Candace was a devoted daughter, sister and mother to her four children. She left an impact on those around her and was known for her ability to make people laugh. She had a heart full of love, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love for her children and family knew no bounds.
Candace is survived by her mother; Barbara Simon-Robinson, her father; Chester Eberhardt Sr., her children; Raeshaun C. Reid Jr., Nariah B. Swails, Phoenix C. Swails and King E. Swails, and her grandchildren; Ariana and Rayanna Reid. Candace is also survived by her siblings; Donnell Simon (Asekia), Sonya (Nikki) Simon and Chester Eberhardt Jr. (Diane).
Candace is also survived by her nephew; Donnell Freeman, her nieces; Chardia Simon, Danesha Davis, Dyleachia Eberhardt and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Candace is preceded in death by her two grandmothers; Opal Simon and Bessie Eberhardt, her aunt; Deborah Simon, her uncles; Joey and Danny Simon and her cousins; Harlan and Kevin Eberhardt.
