Carlos (Los) was born on December 16, 1983 to Denise Tunstell and Eddis Singleton, Sr. Los truly enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He was in such a hurry to get here that he arrived 3 weeks early. Many said he was the cutest chubbiest baby you ever wanted to see. He had big deep dimples you could stick your fingers in just like his grandmother Bertha. He grew up in East Cleveland where his smile won him many friends and female admirers. He always enjoyed sports and played football for little league, baseball for Kirk Junior High School, and competitive boxing from the middle 1990s through the early 2000s. He won numerous amateur lightweight competitions in weight class135-160 pounds for the City of East Cleveland Boxing Club through PAL. Among his Memorable victories were attained at the Ohio State Fair, Silver Gloves competition for non-professional pugilists ages 8-16 years, Junior Olympics, Golden Gloves of America, and numerous local fight clubs.
Los was Christened, Baptized, and Confirmed in the United Methodist faith as a child. He attended Epworth Euclid Congregational Church in Cleveland. Los is a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and father that was more than loved, he was well liked. He was always protective of his girls, old and young. All you had to do was call. The last year of his life, Carlos worked full time at the Union Club, where he never missed a day. He had just received a promotion he never got the opportunity to benefit from.
Carlos leaves behind to mourn his mother Denise Tunstell and father Eddis Singleton Sr.; his Mother-In-Love Saye; his Brothers Eddis Jr. and Devon; his Sister Mieshawn; his Aunts Donna Black-Brown, Kim Black, Sharri-Lynn Thomas, Alvenia Jones, Lavenia Mack, Sally Singleton; his Uncles Edward Johnson, Ronald Singleton, and Tyrone Singleton; his Cousins Lisa, Nicole, Marcus, Jamar, Larisa, Sheirrod, Sean, Andre, Shamaine (Teastie), Roncshnette, Tyrone, Ashley, and Vonnie; his Children Carlos Anthony (15) nee Shandora Keener, London (11) and Javier (4) nee Tanecia Hunter; and a host of friends.
Rest well Carlos. Love is stronger than death. Mommie says she loves you more today than yesterday and Daddy says job well done my son.
