Carrie G. Cloyd was born on May 31, 1940 in New Orleans, LA and peacefully passed away on October 14, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Sarah Stewart, as well as her sister, TerryLee Stewart.
Carrie was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, sewing and playing cards. She retired as a nurse’s aid from Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clarence Cloyd; children, Eric Cloyd and LaSara (James) Johnson; siblings, Edward Stewart, Larry Stewart and LaSandra Stewart; grandchildren, Kyle Johnson and Kayla Johnson and a host of other family members and friends.
