This is such sad news. We didn't talk or see each other often, but our friendship was strong and endured for 40 years! What an amazing woman! Strong, smart and dependable. We had such good times and shared lots of laughs. She is already missed - but will never be forgotten. Condolences to the family.

This is so hard to believe that I am writing this and sending condolences to your mother and family. We just saw one another at Carolyn’s funeral saying goodbye to her and now I have to say goodbye to you. When we saw each other during that time we laughed and talked as if we were still in high school. It gives me comfort to know that you are and Carolyn are together again and serving as our guardian angels for all who loved you. Char, my friend, you will be missed, but I know I’ll see you again and we will pick up from where we left off, laughing and talking just as we did when we last saw one another.

When Charlene and my sister came to live with me while they attended College in Pittsburgh it was never a dull moment. One day l had decided to rearrange the furniture in the living room but the next day when I came home from work they had changed it back.. The two of them always made me laugh. Charlene had a special kind of charm. I will always remember her smile. One of her favorite things was Sara Lee's sweet roles, l always had them around for her. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to her Mother, family and friends.

To the Ms. Juanita, my prayers are with you and your family. I understand this is a difficult time, but if you keep your hand in God's hand everything will be alright. My prayers will be forever with you always. Please remember: 2 Corinthians 5:8 states: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Char was a hardcore friend to me...No matter how many years had passed since we last spoke when we connected it seemed like no time had passed at all. She was always bringing me up to speed on the happenings with our old time Shaker friends and classmates...We shared many fond memories and we got ourselves into some stuff (usually good stuff?). Although we were neighbors and friends in high school her friendship never wavered over the years. She was hilarious, she always made me laugh til I cried. Char is a special person and she meant so much to me, I will miss her soooo much. My only comforted is to know I will see her again someday. I pray strength for Mrs. Jackson and the entire family and friends she leaves behind. Friends Forever Char until we meet again.???❤️?
