Charles Alexander Tazewell III. was born July 11, 1939 to his loving parents, Lillian Brown and Charles Tazewell II.
Charles spent the early part of his formative years in New York City with his older sister, Phendalyne (Sweetie). He relocated to Cleveland Ohio with his mother and sister in 1943. While in his teenage years a second sister was born, Carmallette.
Upon graduation for John Adams high school in 1951, he soon after married is wife, Ramona. To this union one son was born, Charles Tazewell IV.
In 1963 Charles joined the Army and was honorable discharged in 1965.
Later in life, Charles remarried and had two other children, Tara Tazewell (deceased) and Alexzandria Tazewell.
Charles was a man that marched to the beat of his own drum. He had great charisma and had a love for making art and a love for cars. His humility caused him to give charitable to many causes that were great to his heart.
Charles loved the Lord and prayed constantly. He preached the importance of family and the love of God to anyone he encountered. As you came into his home you were greeted by scriptures, such as, John 3:8, Joshua 4:7, Psalms 18:17 and 19; 20:21; 25:26 and 27, Hebrews 4:12.
Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Tara Tazewell and his sister, Carmalette Long Parks.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Charles A. Tazewell, Alexandria Tazewell (Gilbert); sister, Phendalyne (Sweetie) Tazewell Crosy; 2 grandchildren Charles A. Tazewell V and Zamir Jakes Gilbert and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
