Charley L. Vales was born on May 7, 1933 in Okolona, Mississippi to Madison and Viola Vales. He was known by many other names: Lebo, Bobo, and Chuck. He departed this life on April 4th, 2021—Easter Sunday. Charley was preceded in death by his wife (Thelma G. Vales), parents (Madison and Viola Vales), and siblings—two sisters and three brothers. He leaves to mourn two sons: Michael of Maricopa, Arizona and Anthony of Cleveland, Ohio. Five daughters: Shelia, Annette, Kimberley, and Rhonda all of Cleveland, Ohio and Ammie (Frank) of Goodyear, Arizona. Nine grandchildren: Charles, Anthony Jr., Brandon, Jemar, Briana, Corey, Desmond, Julian, and Bryce. Six great-grandchildren Kyren, Aries, Dylan, Azriel, Madison, and Conrad. Two brothers-in-law: William (Sheila) of Nashville, Tennessee and Clarence of Toledo, Ohio. One sister-in-law: Bettie of Nashville, Tennessee. And a host of relatives and friends.
Charley fought a brave fight like no other, a fight which even Muhammad Ali would be proud of. He will be truly missed by his beloved family and friends
