Christina Marie (Boyd) Lasley was born August 20, 1972 to parents Ronald (JoAnn) Boyd, and Barbara (Jimmy) Jones in Akron, Ohio.  She attended Buchtel High School graduating with the class of 1990.  She attended the University of Akron where she earned an Associate Degree in business Management.

Christina accepted Christ as her personal Savior, and was baptized at Peoples Baptist Church where she served as Trustee, Executive Assistant to the Women’s Ministry, and was also a member of the Senior Choir.  She worked at Summa Care for 14 years as a Claims Processor.

Christina enjoyed reading, listening to music, singing, reality TV shows, the Hallmark Channel, mystery shows or movies and spending time with her family and friends.

On September 16, 1996 she married the love of her life Christopher “Chris” Lasley, her “Sweet Pea”.  They enjoyed a life of traveling to visit family and friends, watching old black and white movies, and they were both Alabama (Roll Tide), and Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

Christina went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2018.  She was preceded in death by grandmother, Iris Marie Quitman; uncles, Ernest and Curtis Williams, Melvin Quitman; and aunts, Laura Williams, Rose Williams, and Gwendy Hoisten.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted and caring husband Christopher Lasley; stepson Christopher “Little Chris” Lasley, Jr.; father Ronald (JoAnn) Boyd; mother Barbara (Jimmy) Jones; devoted sister and best friend Jackie (Tivie) Preer; three brothers Jai (Trina) Moore, Ryan (Nicole) Boyd, and Tyler Trammell;  devoted uncle Carl Quitman “Uncle Pooh” and wife Tammy; special niece Taylor Marie Preer; special nephew Dillon Preer; grandmother Bettye Gary; grandfather Melvin Gregory; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, coworkers, family and friends.
