Coleman R. Wynn was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 28, 1933, he was the eighth of ten children of the late Marcus T. Wynn and Emma B. Wynn.
A lifelong Cleveland resident, Coleman attended Cleveland Public Schools and devoted 35 years of his career to the Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1988. Beyond his remarkable work ethic, he was known for his meticulous landscaping—a labor of love he tended with pride through all four seasons.
Coleman’s life was deeply rooted in faith and community. He was a proud member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and a dedicated Freemason. He actively supported AAA after retirement, mentoring many individuals and maintaining connections through phone calls and visits, offering encouragement long after stepping away from the workforce.
In 1968, Coleman married Irene Thomas, and together they had their beloved son, Maurice. Though predeceased by sons Coleman Jr., Derrick, and Darrell; daughters Rhonda and Renee; brothers Marcus Jr., Clifford, George, Richard, and Arthur; and sisters Dorothy, Emma, and Viola, Coleman’s legacy lives on through his surviving family

Coleman’s legacy is one of devotion—to his family, to his faith, and to his community. He will be profoundly missed and warmly remembered for the love, encouragement, and meticulous care he shared with all whose lives he touched.
