Crystal Scott, age 65, went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2022.
Crystal Denise Scott (affectionately known as ‘Crystal Ball’) was born January 15, 1957, to Minnie and Joseph Scott. She attended Cleveland public schools and graduated from East High School in 1974. In 1976 Crystal gave birth to her beautiful daughter Tyshaida Carter.
Crystal accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized at Second Lakeview Baptist Church. She also served at Greater New Calvary under Pastor Eric Sims until his retirement. After which she join her sister and brother in-love in service at the Ambassadors for Christ (Revival House) Ministries. Crystal served avidly in a spirit of excellence in all areas of the helps and worship ministries including, the praise team, Usher and greeting ministries, finance, and hospitality. You could feel her high-spirited praise from the time she walked into the sanctuary. She was known by the church family as “Blessed by The Best” which was not only her greeting response, but it was also her testimony.

Crystal began working at KeyBank, formerly known as Society in 1978. She remained with the company for 40 years until her retirement in 2018 from the Commercial Loan Division. Crystal was an avid bowler for over 30 years. She was a part of various leagues over this time span, she bowled around the city of Cleveland, and traveled to different states competing in tournaments.
Crystal absolutely loved her family. She always remembered birthdays, and special events going on in her loved one’s lives. She was always there to support in any way that she could. She loved family time with her siblings, they would enjoy singing, dancing, laughing, playing cards, bowling, and just having a great time together. She doted on all her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed watching the Soap Opera’s which she called ‘stories’ with her mother that she checked in on daily. Crystal’s most precious role ever was that of being a mother. The most cherished relationship in her life, was the one that she shared with her daughter. They were close confidantes, favorite companions, and best friends. The love that they share for one another is insurmountable.

On the morning of November 25, 2022, Crystal peacefully entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loved ones. Crystal was preceded in death by her father the Joseph Scott.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved daughter Tyshaida Carter, mother Minnie Scott, siblings, Teneshia Matthews, Deborah Fuller, Gayle Scott, Joseph Scott Jr., (Loreli) Iris Scott Davis (Jimmy), LaTrese Fearman (Eric), Vernaun Scott (Sheila), nieces and nephews, Myesha, Charmaine, Eike, Marquita, Sundari, Charles, Donna, James, Joseph, Brittany, Kelly, Shaina, Lauren, Austin, Luke, a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
