On January 6, 2021, surrounded by his family, a truly wonderful soul, Curtis White, passed away. Curt fought a year-long battle with cancer valiantly. Curt was born on December 20, 1954, in Hollandale, Mississippi to the late Link and Aggienora White. He was the youngest of 15 children.
Curt retired from Quality Casting in December 2016, after 38 years of service. He enjoyed hosting family gatherings, where his good music and “Jungle Juice” was the highlight of the party. He was a great auto mechanic and enjoyed playing Tunk with friends and family. He enjoyed watching basketball and football games, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, and Ohio State, being his teams of choice. Curt was an avid lottery player and often hit both the mid-day and evening lotto on the same day.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Doris, Rose, Bernice, Fred, JW, Earl, and Link Jr.
He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife and caregiver Stacy McCail-White; daughters, Bianca Mccail, Tashico White and Nikkita White; son, Darnell Richardson, Jr, and stepson, Willard Gibson III; sisters, Ceola, Ruby, Earline, and Juanita; brothers, William, Bob and Curley; 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Even though his family is devastated by his loss, he is now at peace. Therefore, giving his love ones great comfort.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Oncology Team of Dr. Esther Rehmus and to the many family members and friends who have provided support, words of encouragement, calls, and messages.
