A proud member of St. John’s CME Church in Akron, Daniel was deeply rooted in faith and community. He was a successful entrepreneur, known throughout Akron for his ownership of a local convenience store and his tireless efforts to rehabilitate properties across the city. His work not only revitalized neighborhoods but also uplifted the lives of those around him.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Willie Burch; his son, Kenneth Bowman; his sister, Carrie Davis; his brothers, Booker and Charles Henderson; and his life partner Thelma Scott.
