David Walcott was born on July 1, 1953 in Cleveland Ohio to Margaret and Allan Walcott Jr..He was always viewed as a hero and patriarch by his siblings.
David attended Cleveland Catholic Schools.
He joined the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and was stationed on the USS Forrestal Aircraft carrier.
David married (Jacqueline Williams) and had one son, David G. Walcott, 2 grand Children David III and Eisse Rose Walcott.
He retired as a corrections officer after 30 years of dedicated service to the City of Cleveland. Dave’s quiet yet stoic posture earned him the nickname “Stone” as affectionately called by his co-workers and family.
During his spare time, he enjoyed following his favorite Cleveland sports teams such as the Browns, Cavaliers and Indians.
Dave was a devout Catholic and professed his belief in Jesus Christ as his lord and savior prior to his departure.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son David (Nicole), 2 grandchildren David Walcott III, Eisse Walcott; 2 brothers, Richard & Jerome Walcott, One sister Margaret Walcott. Loving friends & other relatives.
