Deacon Hiawatha Bagley was born on August 21, 1941, in Union Springs, AL, to the late Robert C. Sr. and Lee Ella Bagley. He was affectionately known as “Bubba.” He attended Akron Public Schools and, later was a coach for the West Pee Wee Football Team. He was an avid sports fan and loved to work-out daily. His favorite teams were the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Indians. He loved chocolate, the color red, and playing his organ at home.
He was a member at Kingdom Grace Fellowship Church, where he was ordained as a deacon under the leadership and tutelage of Overseer E. Renea Collins. His favorite scripture was Psalm 6. He would also visit Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Corey D. Johnson, Sr., Senior Pastor.
He was formerly employed by Western Reserve Hospital and Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert C. Bagley, Jr.; sister-in-law, Toni Bland.
He leaves to cherish his memory devoted and loving wife, Nadine L.
