To the Hall Family, From the time we met Rudolph Hall, or “Papa Rudy” as we called him, nearly 30 years ago he welcomed us as family with a wide smile, tight hugs, and contagious laughter. His love for family and the community was endless. Every time we got together for one of his famous BBQs, he warmly showed love and concern by asking about our family and friends. It’s so hard to lose a loved one, but 2 Corinthians 5:8 reminds us “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,” and that’s where he is now. We can see him settling into heaven, meeting his Savior, reuniting with loved ones, and looking for the perfect place for his forever garden in the sun. One that will stay in full bloom all year long. Where the tomatoes will always be ripe and the collard greens can be eaten before the first frost. It is with great disappointment that we are unable to be there today to support you and to say farewell to Papa Rudy on this side of heaven. But our faith tells us we will see him again and you will also. Please know that we are there with you in spirit. Rest in Heaven Papa Rudy. You ran a good race and fought a good fight. Now it’s time to rest.

Reverend Dogba W.R. Bass left a message on January 13, 2021:
Deacon Rudy Hall was a great friend and a good man. I met Rudy almost fourteen years ago when he came by to help our church, Werner United Methodist, with our boiler problems; and he kept us going for all these years. Rudy knew his business, and he went out of his way to help everybody. I recommended him to everybody who had heating issues, and he always gave them an honest day's work. I would always "pay" Rudy more than he asked for. And quite often, he would ask me to tell him what I should give him. for the work he had done. I say "pay" because I could never give him enough for what he did and for the time he spent helping with all of our plumbing and heating needs. He was a hard- worker and a God-fearing man. Not too long ago, Deacon Hall asked me to pray for his brother who had been hospitalized for a long time. Never did I imagine that I would be writing a tribute for my good friend, Rudy. Family, our sincere condolences to you. Sincerely, Rev. Bass

Donice Bell (The Nichols Family) left a message on January 12, 2021:
I lack the words to express my grief over the passing of your phenomenal husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He touched lives without leaving a space for doubts in anyone hearts. Indeed, I will remain grateful to GOD for the lifetime opportunity HE presented in being a beloved and devoted friend to my dad (Bobby Nichols) and other family members. If not, I wouldn't have been able to fathom the incredible loss his death has brought. Accept my deepest sympathy, and may his soul rest in eternal peace and rest - once again with my dad.
