Deandre Martell Andrus was born in Akron, Ohio on March 18, 1996. He departed this life on October 8, 2017.

Deandre attended Akron Public Schools for elementary school and graduated from Springfield High School. After graduation, he attended Feather River College in Quincy, California.

Deandre was known for his jokes, pranks and contagious laugh.

He had a great passion for sports and played in the youth football league for Akron’s East Pee Wee teams until middle school. He went on to play football for Springfield High School, Buchtel High School and Feather River College. Deandre was preceded in death by great-grandfather Preston Lee Andrus Sr., and cousin Tanisha Blu Andrus. He leaves to cherish his memory, parents Darcheka (Todd) Burton and Wayne Goodrum; godmother, Onyema Lindsey; son, Deandre Martell Andrus, Jr. (Angelique); grandparents, Dessena Andrus, Annie (Ernest) Johnson, Terrance and Sheila Burton; great-grandparent, Mattie Louise Andrus; sisters, Aaliyah, Alexis, Ciara, London (Cody) and Talent; brothers, Davonte, Jayvin, Thailan, Todd Jr., Treston, Treyvon and Wayne; close cousins Zhanneya, Ranezha (NaeNae); friends John and Sierra; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
