Dewitt Powell Jr. went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2016.

Dewitt is survived by his beloved Wife Johnnie Mae Powell. Cherished Father of Aviss Rollins and Cynthia Powell-Hale. Loving Brother of Katie Walker, Dorothy Nixon, Anna Jean-McMullen, Margaret Wright, Elizabeth “Liz” Henry, Kendrick Lewis Powell, Arthur “Edward” Powell and Robert Powell. Grandfather of Stacee Roy, Kevin Rollins, Bryon Carter Jr., and Jerika Carter. Great-Grandfather of Cedric Taylor Jr, Ramiay, Rhani and Raquel Roy, Kase, Kole and Jaxon Rollins.
