Diane Patricia Hunt was born July 17, 1951, in Selma, Alabama to the late Evans Woodson and Ophelia Woodson. Diane relocated to Cleveland, Ohio with her parents when she was a young girl and attended the Cleveland Public School District.
Diane confessed her love for Christ at an early age and was baptized at Summer Grove Baptist Church, in Selma, Alabama and later joined her family at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. She later joined Mt. Gillion Baptist Church under the late Paster Freddie L. Brown.
Diane worked many years in different factories, until she retired from Allen Telcom after an injury. Diane loved to shop, listen to music, and dance, she would spend many hours watching QVC and transforming regular hats into works of art.
Diane leaves to mourn her husband Eric M. Hunt, three children Dr. Sophia D. Woodson-Laney (Andre’ Sr.), Allen E. Woodson, and Tammy O. Porter, Sister Ella Williams, and God Daughter Falesia Wiley Clark (Elliott). She loved her grandchildren; five grandsons three granddaughters the eldest would precede her in death. She was over the moon when she was able to meet her three great grandchildren. Diane grew up with a lot of love and surrounded by many family members and friends.
