Donna Jean White-Green was born in Cleveland, OH on September 3rd, 1958. She was born to the proud parents of Willie and Bennie White.

Donna became a very responsible person at a young age. She graduated from John Hay in 1975. She then went on to achieve her associate degree from Community College and achieved her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Donna accepted Christ as her savior at a young age.

Donna started her career path at Kaiser Permanente in Human Resources in 1995. She then started working for the City of Cleveland as director of projects and went on to work for the county. Donna had plenty of meaningful jobs such as: the airport, the Cleveland Water Department, and a substitute teacher. Donna shared her skills with all whom she came across. Donna loved to garden, read, relax, and she loved her family.

She was very business-oriented. Donna was the type of person who never bit her tongue. She always had a shoulder you could lean on.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Bennie White and her sister Yvonne Gould-Gray.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Michael White (Christal) and Brandon Green; grandchildren, Brianna Scott, Sonnie Lewis, Mykea Lewis, and Kingston Zaire Green; great-grandchildren, Nyla and Noah James; sister, Patricia Bowers (Pretiss Bowers); brothers, Tommy Davis, Robert White, Stanley White, and John Gray; aunt Mildred Hambright; nieces, Likisha (Michael) Subbotin, Quanisha Lavender, Charisse Bowers. Rebecca White, Xynique Davis, Kala Bowers (Marvin) Pullum, and Terrica Gould; nephews, Andre (Jackie) Gould, Darrell Curd, Donald (Porshe) White and host of family and friends.

My dear friend Lady Donna. It is my earnest prayer that your children, grandchildren, & relatives will be able to cry, laugh, cry some more, and go through the grieving process with the Holy Spirit guiding them. Lady Donna was a light to me at Cuyahoga County & a I'm certain she made a positive impact on those who she came into contact with, via in person, or phone. All too often, we loose the honor in human empathy/compassion when servicing a disadvantaged population. She never lost sight of those qualities which makes her a hero in my book. She will always be remembered as a champion for the "least of these" as per the scriptures. You are now called to rest my dear. Well done, thy good & faithful servant. I am in sheer shock behind the news of Donna's passing. We worked together at Cuyahoga County and most recently saw each in the building.. She and I kept each other laughing and was truly a pleasant, good-hearted woman. She will be missed. Sending prayers of comfort, condolences and understanding to the family..

My sincere and heart felt to condolences to the family in the passing of this beautiful soul. Donna was in my training class at the county when I returned to work after being on leave. She had such a sweet spirit and kept me laughing during training class. She will be missed by all that was ever blessed to be in her presence. Sleep Well dear sister.
