Doris Jean Webb was born on April 22 in 1945, to the late James Polk and Rose Anderson, both preceding her in death along with her only brother Douglas Anderson.
Doris attended Cleveland Public Schools, where she graduated in 1964 from John Hay. After high school Doris worked various jobs. In 1973, she launched her professional career with Society National Bank (Key Bank) until she retired in December 2000.
Doris confessed her faith in Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was a long-time member of Affinity Baptist Church, under the late Rev. James McJunkin. She later joined Full Faith Community Gospel Church under the spiritual guidance of Pastor David Smith.
Doris met the love of her life, and married Wendell in 1970. To this union was born Wendell II and Robyn.
Doris leaves to cherish her memories: loving husband Wendell, four children; Rochelle, Sonia, Wendell II, and Robyn, five grandchildren; Shameka (Robert), Brandon, Jasmin (Christopher), Skylar, and Dorian, ten great-grandchildren; Sean, Asante’, Qumaurie, Jordan, Marshawn, Kendyll, Titian, Kori, Amia’, Hassan, one sister; Deborah Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
