Dorothy Jackson Moseley went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 1, 2018.
Dorothy was a lifelong resident of this community, last employed by the Akron Public School System retiring in 1993.
For more than 75 years, Dorothy was a faithful member of Arlington Church of God, participating in Sunday School, Youth Choir and the Usher Board.
Preceded in death by parents, Bennie and Mary Gillie Broadnax Jackson; brothers, Donald Jackson and Herbert Jackson; sister, Celia Perdue; niece, Patricia Cloud; and beloved husband of 56 years, James W. Moseley.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory children and caregivers; son, William, daughter, Janae, primary caregiver, daughter Doris all of Akron; brothers, Bennie Jackson and Allen (Shirley) Jackson; cousin, Annie Reynolds; special friends, Thelma Ford, Janice Crouch, Edna Robinson, Rosa L. Terry and Ella M. Redwine and a host of relatives and friends.
Our family is grateful for the excellent care Dorothy received from Home Instead Senior Care, The Gables of Green, Theresa Robinson Brown and Linda Peden.
