Edith Johnson transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal home on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Born March 28, 1939 in Chatham, Virginia, Edith was the daughter of the late Mercer and Mattie Clark, and the baby of the Clark Clan.
She worked for many years at the Arbors Nursing Home and was a very faithful, dedicated, caring person to her family and friends. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mercer and Mattie Clark; children, Tyrone, Dwain and Denise; sisters and brothers, Sue, Pinky, Ruby, Pattie, Haywood, Charles, Ernest, George, Thomas, Earl, Junior and Iris.
She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Frank (Terra) and Timmie Johnson; grandchildren, Travell, Tyler, Arlynn-Nikki, Shavonda, Shonda, Dwain, Shaneen, Devin and Donald; sister-in-law, Nellie Clark; 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great, great granddaughter; devoted friends, John Sharp, Inez Hall, Evelyn Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished friends.
