Edward is survived by his spouse Betty Spencer; children, Melissa Harden and David Harden (Cheressa); siblings, Christine Elliott, Emogene Hammond, Ernestine Harden, Harris Harden, Kenneth Harden, John Harden (Doris), Barbara Horton (Larry), Francis Sanderfer, Herbert Smith, Anita Thompson, Elsie Waddell, Linda Gail Williams, and Cora Walker; grandchildren, Malik Harden, Monterae Harden, David Harden Jr.; great-grandson Messiah Harden.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie And Selma Harden and his son Edward Harden Jr.
