Ernestine Williams went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. She was born in Akron, Ohio to Louis Harris and Jean Howell “Janita Lee Jones”, on August 5, 1956.
She attended South High School where she graduated and went off to beauty school at Washington Beauty Academy. She also was a scholar at truck driving school where she obtained her CDL.
She was a member at Church of God and Saints of Christ and Solid Rock.
As a young adult, she enjoyed playing softball. She loved cooking and cracking jokes. She also took pride in teaching and motivating her family, friends, and her pocoha family about the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Harris, Jean Howell, and Janita Jones; siblings Veronica Baker and Elan Williams; sons Charles Williams and William Kennedy; grandsons Royce McCormick and Warren Williams, Jr.; and great-grand Jaxson Hunt.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Janita Williams and Dewanda Williams; son Warren (Nadjia) Williams; sisters Ertice (twin) Williams and Arita Williams; special friend Shawneka McPhee; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
