Estachia Shamone Amanda Louise Rodgers, 31, of Akron, Ohio died on March 14, 2025 from complications of congestive heart failure.
Estachia was born May 23, 1993 in Akron, Ohio. She was the daughter of Ursala Rodgers and grand daughter of Eunice Rodgers both of Akron, Ohio. Estachia graduated from Garfield Highschool and earned degrees from Stark State College in computer science & engineering, cyber security and computer forensics technology, and mobile applications development. She was a valued team member at SUPERB Industries where she worked as an Information Technology technician and administrative specialist. Previously she was employed by Certified Angus Beef as a web developer for five years.
Estachia was a member of the United Church of God and used her computer skills to serve on the sound and webcasting team. She made an invaluable contribution at the Walnut Creek Ohio Feast of Tabernacles for five consecutive years where she was single handedly responsible for sound and webcasting services. She was also responsible for web streaming services at the annual Food Independence Summit attended by thousands of people each year. Her contributions at these annual events will be sorely missed.
Estachia enjoyed hiking, going to concerts, playing computer games, billiards and won several trophies for bowling.
Remaining to cherish Estachia’s memory are her mother Ursala Rodgers, grandmother Eunice Rodgers and her friends and coworkers.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Larry Rodgers, aunts Angela Rodgers Gurley and Teresa Ann Rodgers McGowan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM followed by funeral services at Stewart Calhoun Funeral home 529 W. Thornton Street, Akron, OH 44307 with Stephen Bouchette and John Miller officiating.
