Evelyn Tyson went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2022.

Evelyn leaves to cherish her loving memory: her sister Maude Anothony, her children Wille T. (Stephanie), Frieda, Liz (Victor), Edwin (Yolanda). Her grandchildren Sonya, Tiffany, John, James, Janan, Frenandez, Domonique, Victoria, Tiffany J. Shakyla, Edwin Jr, and Angel. Also, numerous great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents John and Viola Patton, her loving husband Jack Tyson, her sisters Lucille, Mattie S., her brothers Walter, Essie, James, Lee Roy, John L, Older T. and her daughters Viola and Nancy.
