Felicia Denise Horton Bland was born in Cleveland Ohio on March 8, 1970, to Marjorie Horton-Cook and her stepdad, Odis Cook who raised her. Who has all preceded her in death. Felicia grew up in Cleveland Ohio and gave herself to Christ at an early age. She attended Cleveland Public Schools System, she graduated from John Marshall High School. Felicia worked for Cuyahoga County Job and Family Services for 20 years as a case worker until she became ill and retired. After taking a break for a while getting her health better, she was ready for work again and started working for Provide a Ride 2019 as a dispatcher.
Felicia was a beautiful person but to find that out you had to get to know her you can bet she made that hard because she was not a person to make friends with just anybody. But once you knew her it would be a lifelong relationship because she loved hard and was the sweetest person you could meet. She was kind, loving, caring, loyal, dependable, strong, compassionate, and funny when she was not trying to be funny. But most importantly, she was a FIGHTER when it came to life and life challenges never giving up always found good in things and people.
Felicia loved music (New Edition), her favorite group, going to concerts, traveling, alone time with her TV and spending time with her loved ones. She adored her grandbabies and was full of joy when she spoke of them. Felicia was a loving, firm, caring mother, and wanted nothing but the best for all five of her children. Born to the loving union of her high school sweetheart and love of her life Antonio Bland whom she happily married on March 12, 2022.
On September 12, 2024, Felicia Denise Horton Bland departed this life. She leaves to mourn her passing but cherish many beautiful memories. Her Husband Antonio Bland Sr.; 5 Children, Antonio Bland Jr., Anthony Bland, Antuan Bland, Aure Bland, Auriel Bland; 4 Stepchildren, Allysa Bland, Trevon Bland, Jay Denver, Doron Diggs; Sister, Kenya Horton; Brother, Phillip Gary Faulkner; Nine Grandchildren and a host of niece and nephews.
