Beyond his career, Floyd was a faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he served with devotion and humility. His faith was central to his life, guiding his steps and shaping the legacy of love, integrity, and service that he leaves behind.
Floyd loved to barbecue and was known for making the best barbecue sauce. He took pride in keeping a clean and stylish car, but above all, he cherished his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to talk about them or brag on their accomplishments. A devoted Cleveland sports fan, Floyd also enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
Affectionately known as “Big Jones,” Floyd will be remembered as compassionate, considerate, gracious, warm-hearted, and, of course, a jokester. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew him and will continue to inspire generations to come. He was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can ever say.
