Frank went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2021.

Frank was blessed with 5 grandchildren: sheree, christopher, and lashonda (barnett); alisha and raymond (jeffery); mario, sharnae, and niyah (aneesa); two great-grandchildren: bailee (alisha) and amira (raymond).

Frank was a retired us postal service letter carrier of 34 years where he met many friends and maintained family-like relationships that were everlasting.

Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved traveling, making new friends, and watching television. Frank was a people person, a loving, nurturing, and caring father and grandfather. Frank was a good listener. If you need to know something, someone to remind you of something, or advice; frank was your go to person. He was a wealth of information. From history to politics. He had a memory like an elephant, he met no strangers, and he had a comforting personality that drew people to him.

He departed his earthly life on his journey with the lord to eternal life on February 19, 2021. His family and friends will cherish the many great memories he left in our hearts; until we meet again

I’m sorry to hear of Mr Slaughter’s passing . I worked with Frank at B/ C complex station when I was newly hired in 1988 . He was a great man to know , friendly , kind , knowledgeable. He would always have a smile and be so helpful in my job , telling me to always be safe and just do my job. I practiced his guidelines throughout my postal career , and I respected him and thank him for helping me . To his family and friends , I’m sending my deepest condolences for strength and healing prayers for your loss of Frank , I’ll never forget him , God Bless
