Garland was always helpful to me. He looked out for those who needed help and was there to offer his assistance. He always had a kind word. The community will miss him. I am sadden by his passing . I consider myself blessed to have known him! Please accept my sincere condolence and my prayers.
Joel A. Simmons Sr. left a message on February 1, 2021:
I have many fond memories of you my friend. So I will only share two. You, Linda and some of our close friends took a road trip to San Antonio TX! At our ages upon arival we all had to soak our entire bodies. But one special spot at the rear needed extra soaking. But "WE" had big fun anyway! One other time, we went on an adventure to VA. in search of some long lost cousins of yours to claim your share of some property you inherited. As I recall, you never received your property but we shared a traffic ticket! Garland I still think you were driving not me! G-money we'll settle that when we meet again my friend! L&R
