George Earl Davis born March 13, 1957 in Cleveland Ohio, one of eight children to Roosevelt and Jennell Davis. His mother (MaMa) and brother, Santos, proceed him. George was a loving and dedicated son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. He graduated from East Technical High School and went on to obtain his Associate Degree from the Community College of the Air Force followed by Bachelors of Science Degree from Park College. He was extremely intelligent, hardworking and obtained honors for his academic endeavors. He served twenty honorable years in the United States Air Force retired as a Master Sergeant (E-7) Air Traffic Controller. Master Sergeant Davis served all over the world: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Kunsan Air Base in Korea, March Air Force Base in California, and Warner Robbins Air Force Base in Georgia, to name a few.
After his service he married the love of his life, Lisa Davis. He loved her more than anything and always shared his love for her with the world. He was so proud of his wife and always did everything he could to make her happy. He then went on to continue his work at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City as a Group Manager Aeronautical Information Specialist. He worked tirelessly for 24 more years after he retired from military service. After a distinguished career, George retired from the FAA in 2021 with a combined 44 years of federal service. George had one amazing son and four beautiful daughters: Eric (Carlos) Brooks, Kia Johnson, Tishiya Johnson, Gionna Davis, and Jordan Davis.
He was a phenomenal father to each one of his children. He provided an amazing life to his son and all of his girls. He made sure they were always taken care of in every way. He always provided unconditional love, support, comfort, and warmth. He always put his family first. He carried the world on his shoulders and never once faltered. He was a praying man, a man of faith who loved the Lord. He was hardworking, intelligent, helpful, and a provider. He was always the life of the party. He loved dancing, laughing, and music. He was always spreading joy to every person he came into contact with. He is one of one.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Roosevelt, his siblings: Roosevelt Jr, Harry (Sylvia), Velencia, Sonia (Allen), Maria, and Quinton. George leaves cherished memories for his loving wife of 25 years Lisa, four daughters: Gionna, Jordan, Kia, and Tishiya, three granddaughters: Brookelynn, Mya, and Harlym. One son, Carlos (Sonya), Grandsons, Tank, Dreamond Brooks. He also cherished and leaves memories for a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.
