Gladys Jenkins went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2021 at the age of 63. She leaves to celebrate her life and to remember the love that she gave so abundantly, her devoted husband, Douglas Jenkins and three daughters: Tamika Paul, Erika Jenkins, Ja-nete (Dante) Powell; her twin brother, Robert Paul; one sister, Vera Paul-Jarrett; six grandchildren: Cierra Bailey, Ashanti Bailey, Jimmie Jenkins, Taijha Dukes, Taniyah Dukes, Jabron Powell; one great-grandchild, Te’Chawn Bridgeman…and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

I work at the Solon Recreation Department and was fortunate to work with Gladys. She was a very nice lady and I was disappointed to hear about her passing. My condolences to your family. I hope that all the fun memories you shared with Gladys comfort you in your time of morning. RIP Gladys!

I have many fond memories of working with Gladys at Southgate. We would cook and serve wonderful food especially at holidays, turkey and all the sides! A group of us would also have dinner on Friday evenings at different restaurants. Heartfelt condolences and prayers to all her family and loved ones. God Bless.

Doug, when I got the news of Mickey's passing, after my shock....I immediately thought of the surprise party Renee and moma managed to pull off for my 16th birthday. When you and Mick walked up holding hands saying 'we just got married" and smiling from ear to ear. Celebrate good time com'on! You two were a team even before that day which was about 34 years or so! That is truly a blessing in itself.
