“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day — and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Mr & Mrs Johnson, Aunt Nett, Alishea, Atasha and family: Mommy, Daphne, Lenard and I extend our sincere condolences to you. Aunt Gracie As the eldest niece...I remember this teenage aunt taking me out for a sleigh ride in fresh fallen snow where she slipped and fell and a racing sled with me on board gained momentum and was caught by her baby brother (Lilton)midway down The hill on “Ridge Av “Our Aunt Gracie was senior matriarch of the Morris Johnson family who had a very special way of embracing you...If you’ve ever been blessed with one of her hugs you know what I’m talking about. She had a very special way of loving her immediate and extended family in a special and individual way.... for me we jokingly referred to her as “My most important Aunt...because she actually was just that...she was my mom’s little sister”...she would say...don’t forget who is the most important!...followed by shared giggles. She shared each of her children, daughter-in-law, grands and great grands in a way that was special and important. Each of us were tied in that important bond of genuine “Family Love”... we ,your nieces and nephews, know you needed to rest... yet we have these and other special memories to embrace and comfort us. RIP my “Most Important Aunt”...your eldest niece...Willinda
