Gregory Love was born on February 9th,1960 to the late Percy Lee Love Jr and Thelma Jean Love, in Cleveland Ohio.

Gregory attended Cleveland Public Schools. After high school, he pursued various careers. In 1998, he finally found his passion, which was selling cars.

In 1981, Gregory welcomed his first son, Gregory Dixon. In July of 1986, he met the love of his life, Deborah Dickerson Love. The two of them were joined in Holy Matrimony on July 29th,1989. From this union, they had 1 child, Dominique Romeo Love.

Gregory was full of life, personality and a lot of love. He was affectionately known as G Money, Smooth and The Easy Man. He loved his family, fashion, laughing, singing, dancing and being the life of the party. He always made sure that everyone around him enjoyed themselves. He had the gift of gab and was very passionate about his job. He frequently said, “I can sell water to a drowning fish.” He prided himself on being one of the top car salesmen in Ohio.

Gregory was a man of strong faith. He always made it known that he loved God and God’s word. Gregory was given a tough battle to fight. Even with this battle, he never lost his faith. He was determined to fight no matter what. Gregory put up a heck of a fight for 3 years. Surrounded by his family, Gregory succumbed to his battle on Saturday, July 27th, 2024.

Gregory leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 35 years, Deborah; 2 sons Gregory Dixon and Dominique Love; his mother Thelma Love; his sisters Gwendolyn Williams (Oscar) and Genell Love; 2 granddaughters Daysha Love and Chardae Williams; 3 great grandchildren: Kyrie Love, Kylie Love and Kendall Love; father in law: Golden Dickerson Sr; brother in laws: Golden Dickerson Jr (Teresa)and Kevin Dickerson (Beverly); sister in law: Wendy Henry (Cleo); his dear nieces and nephews: Sierra Dickerson, Timothy Boysaw, Donta Henry, Chloe Henry, Darius Dickerson, Devin Dickerson and Saniya Tucker; his friends which became brothers; Alex (June)Thomas, Raymond Mosby, Ernel Foster, Robert Goldsby and Jonathan Toney; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Gregory is proceeded in death by his father: Percy Lee Love Jr; his grandparents: Percy and Ester Love, Joe Willie and Lillie Lee, Alonzo Chase; his mother-in-law: Anna Marie Dickerson; his best friends: Raynard Holmes, David Luke and Eldridge Dixon; and a host of other aunts, uncles and cousins.
