Helen Hull was born in Montgomery, AL to the late Henry L. (Sr.) and Ezella Rhodes Cargill on December 11, 1951. She attended Highland Home High School in Highland Home, AL. She met and married Wallace Hull Sr. in Cleveland, OH (September 10, 1975) where they made their home, worked and raised their family. To this union two children were born.
Helen was a dedicated and proud employee wherever she worked. She enjoyed giving her all whether it was in serving, cooking or entertaining others. Helen was employed at United Cleaning through Interstate McBee and retired from Hospice of the Western Reserve in 2015. Not one to sit around, she also worked various other part-time jobs.
Two things Helen was exceptional in doing were cooking and working in her yard. She could cook practically anything from A to Z! And if she didn’t know exactly how, she would ask somebody or look it up. Her yard was always well kept: the lawn green and beautiful flowers blossomed to greet you.
After fighting the battle with her health, Helen passed on (May 28, 2024).
Those surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Wallace Hull Sr; son Wallace Jr., and daughter Stephanie Hull (Terry), all of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Mary (Roscoe) Perry, Betty Hall, Grady, AL; Barbara A. Toles, Grady, AL (preceded in death); two brothers, Henry L. Jr. (Rev. Barbara) Cargill, Canton, GA; Oscar Cargill, Grady, AL; Johnny Cargill, Lorain, OH (preceded in death); sisters-in law, Annie P. McVay of Cleveland, OH, Martha (Rannie) Battle of Waxhaw, NC; brothers-in-law Lovell Hull, John H. Hull of Cleveland, OH, and Matthew Hull of Cuba, AL.
Helen leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors who will always remember the acts of love and kindness she shared with them.
